Meet the Osteopaths
-
Eleanor Hudson
BSc (Hons) Ost
English, French
I qualified as an osteopath from The British School of Osteopathy (renamed UCO), London, in 2003. I initially worked as a locum in osteopathic, GP and multi-disciplinary practices around the UK and in New Zealand, before settling up a private practice in Bristol for 6 years.
I worked in a consultancy capacity for the Bristol MATS service (Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment Services), an NHS service geared towards aiding GPs in diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
I moved to Toulouse in 2011 and set up Toulouse Osteopaths private practice to provide osteopathy for patients in English and French.
I enjoy treating babies and pregnant women as much as professional athletes and helping with the mobility challenges that old age can bring.
Each patient is so different and osteopathy so unique in finding a solunion for each patient that it is a profession I thoroughly enjoy and find very rewarding.

Marie Privet
DO, MSc Micro-nutrition
English, French, Spanish
I graduated from the Institut Toulousain d’Osteopathie (l’ITO) in 2012 after 6 years full time training.
As I started working in Toulouse I continued exploring different topics of osteopathy through various osteopathic courses such as paediatric, pregnancy and cranial.
I continued doing so while living in Montreal, Canada, where I worked in a practice with both French and English speaking patients. There I learned multidisciplinary patient care and started developing an interest in nutrition and its crucial impact on health.
It quickly became evident that I would need to further my training in order to include it in my consultations, which is why, once I came back to France, I did a Masters degree in micro-nutrition.
This now allows me to offer osteopathic consultations that include a thorough assessment of the patient’s metabolism and personalised recommendations on nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle.
